A certified global phenomenon known for her fearless lyricism and emotive performances, Reyez’s releases have earned press praise from Rolling Stone, Harper’s Bazaar, Associated Press, T Magazine, Genius, People, GRAMMY.com, and more. In recent years, Reyez released her first book of poems, Words of a Goat Princess, contributed to Netflix’s Rebel Moon soundtrack with the single “Child of Fire,” and delivered a unique rendition of “Is This Love” featured on the Bob Marley: One Love – Music Inspired by the Film soundtrack, which went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. A hitmaker behind the scenes, Reyez has penned songs for Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Kehlani, LISA (BLACKPINK), and Calvin Harris. In 2024, she was awarded Billboard Canada’s Women in Music Trailblazer Award and recognized as a TikTok Visionary Voice for Latin Heritage Month. Following her run as a supporting act on transcendent pop artist Sam Smith’s GLORIA tour in 2023, Reyez dominated the stage at Lollapalooza 2024 in Brazil, Argentina, and Chile, while also performing across Australia and Asia. In 2024, she played Corona Capital in Mexico City and joined a series of arena shows across the U.S. as part of Jhené Aiko’s The Magic Hour Tour. Reyez continues to chart strongly with her hit songs “Imported” featuring Grammy-nominated artist 6LACK, which recently went 2x Platinum, and “Figures,” also RIAA-certified 2x Platinum, as she continues to build a massive and loyal fanbase across streaming platforms worldwide. Her second studio album Yessie was longlisted for the 2023 Polaris Music Prize, while her debut album Before Love Came to Kill Us has since reached RIAA Gold certification, cementing Reyez as a defining voice in the contemporary R&B and pop landscape.
