Fox Community Food and Supply Drive
Join us for the Fox Community Food and Supply Drive in support of Berkeley Food and Housing Project and the Oakland LGBTQ Community Center!
We will be collecting food items and supplies in person at the Fox Theater via drive-through drop-off starting Tuesday, November 17th through Friday, November 20th from 8:30am – 7pm and on Saturday, November 21st from 9:30am – 3:30pm.
During donation drop-off, you can also enter to win a Fox Theater commemorative poster or two tickets to an upcoming Fox Theater show once we are safe to reopen!
Berkeley Food and Housing Project Donation Requests:
hand sanitizer gel, holiday socks, winter gloves, winter hats, washcloths, deodorant, nail clippers, laundry soap, soap, chapstick, mouthwash, razors
Oakland LGBTQ Community Center Donation Requests:
canned goods, boxed water, cereal/instant oatmeal, instant meals, vegetable/fruit juices & vegetable/chicken stock, dry beans, ground coffee, peanut butter & jelly, mac & cheese, instant rice, shelf stable milk boxes, snacks (fruit cups, snack packs, breakfast bars, etc.)
How to Donate Safely
- Only donate new and unused items
- Make sure that food items are within expiration dates
- Avoid donating dented, opened, or damaged cans/food containers
- Avoid donating items with missing labels or tags
- Sanitize items before drop off or ensure they are untouched for 24 hours prior to drop off
